on the job description, I would be a perfect candidate for the position
available. Among my many skills, I have several years experience in internet
based technologies.
I've been
an IT professional for over 5 years, during which time I've worked everything
from standard help desk to performing all the duties of an IT manager,
including setting security
policy, managing a 24 hour staff of technicians, purchasing, and On-Call
rotations. I have worked extensively with Linux, Solaris, Microsoft operating
systems and server applications, routing technologies, firewalls, VPNs, Citrix Metaframe, Compaq
servers, and other hardware/software technologies too numerous to list
individually. I've designed and implemented entire networks from the ground up,
and upgraded/reworked existing networks to keep pace with current technologies.
Along
with a wide variety of professional experience; I continue to explore new
technologies insofar as computing, networks and operating systems. I have a multi-node/OS network at home, which
I am constantly breaking down, rebuilding, and experimenting with. Along with my qualifications you will find me
to be extremely enthusiastic and resourceful with regards to all technical
matters and any additional responsibilities that would come along with my
position.
